VOLUNTEERING

Our volunteer programs have helped bridge the social gap by creating spaces where people can truly connect with and empathize with the reality of thousands of vulnerable families. Becoming a volunteer means leaving a legacy of compassion and love that last lifetime.

SOCIAL KITCHEN

For many of our children, this is the only meal they receive during the day. Our social kitchen has been able to impact the lives of hundreds of children over the years. Now we are looking to grow and open space for more children

HOMEWORK WORKSHOP

This is not just a space for children to do their schoolwork. It is their safe place, a space they love to attend, where they have access to materials for their projects and share time with their friends and the foundation’s staff.

Our Story

For more than 30 years, our founder, Susana Arévalo, has dedicate her life to volunteering working with refugee children in Colombia.

Pulgas Charity is committed to supporting and developing high-impact social projects that improve the quality of life for these children. By sharing our story and showcasing our work internationally, we aim to unite forces, raise awareness , and create a lasting chance for the next generation.

For many years, we dreamed of having our own center where children could attend workshops focused on art and entrepreneurship. In 2016, this dream came true, and it is now called Casa de Sueños (House of Dreams). At this center, located in the heart of the community, we currently run the social kitchen and the homework workshop. We are full of dreams and projects yet to be fulfilled, and for that, we need your support.
